A big THANK YOU to all the Volunteers over the past year. With all your help, we served over 1,100 families during the Holiday Season and over 6,500 families for the 2025 year.

Also, thanks to all those who have donated financially, our retail stores, our local non-profits who ran food drives, the annual post office drive, area churches and many groups of neighbors and clubs.

We look forward to another year doing God’s work in feeding the hungry.

The Martin Luther King Celebration Committee’s King Holiday celebration is planned.

On Sunday, January 18th, beginning at 3 p.m. a memorial march starting at the front entrance of the Southport Fire Headquarters, Howe St.

On Monday, January 19th, beginning at 8 a.m. will be the Round Table Breakfast in Murrow Hall at Trinity Methodist Church. The prestigious Walter Welsh Award will be presented.
